William IV silver "castle top" card case/cheroot case.
Made by Taylor & Perry in Birmingham, circa 1835.
Length 3.75" (9.5cm). Weight 3.31 troy oz. (103g).
This piece has a "seam" running around the top, on both sides,
which looks like a repair, but IS NOT. It was originally made this way by the silversmiths,
who have used a die from a top-opening card case.
