This silver-gilt cup is an exact copy of one presented to
H.R.H. Prince Arthur William Patrick Albert, afterwards
Duke of Connaught and Strathearn, K.G. (and brother of King Edward the VII)
by the great Duke of Wellington when in the year 1850
he stood Godfather to the above newly-born Prince
