A Georgian silver and agate snuff box
Circa 1800, unmarked. Width 2.75" (7cm).
The box has its orginal gilding inside and the lid still fits nicely. I have found that this kind of box with stones inserted are not usually hallmarked and this is no exception. It has a very comfortable feel in the hand with no sharp or hard edges.
